How to install CWM Recovery on Micromax A116 Canvas HD

II. Downloading Required Files:

1. SP Flash Tool

2. MT6589_Android_scatter_emmc.txt

3. ClockWorkMod Recovery.

III. Flashing/Installing ClockworkMod Recovery img on Micromax A116 Canvas HD:

Step 1: Open “Flash_Tool.exe” from the extracted folder.

Step 2: Now, you have to click on “Scatter-loading” button and choose “MT6589_Android_scatter_emmc.txt“

Step 3: As you will select the above file, many entries will be loaded. Make sure you untick all the entries except “recovery“.

Step 4: Now, click on “recovery” and choose “clockworkmod recovery.img”

Step 5: Take out the battery from phone and Click on “Download” button on SP tools, ignore warning(s) and hit “yes“.

Step 6: Immediately, connect your phone to computer via USB and it will install CWM Recovery on Micromax A116 Canvas HD. You can also check the progress in the progress bar.
