Samsung Galaxy S5 Android Phone Announced at with 5.1-inch Display, 16MP Camera – Specs, Details,Price.

Finally, Samsung has announced their new flagship device, the Galaxy S5. This one, unexpectedly comes with the 5.1-inch 1080p display, and the internal powering is by the Snapdragon 801 processor. Samsung has not changed the design much, but the back panel has a perforated texture which doesn’t really look impressive, and one would have found the Faux leather in the Note 3 to be better than this.

Samsung is coming up with four color options for this – Charcoal Black, Shimmery White, Electric Blue and Copper Gold. Some of the new excellent features which are worth the mention, include:

Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS, the latest Android version.
IP67 ratings for Dust and water Resistance
Heart rate sensor below the rear camera, S Health 3.0 app
Finger Scanner for the biometric phone locking and payment authorization

Apart from these, the camera included in the Galaxy S5 is a 16-megapixel one with the 4K video recording capability, and some of the other features include HDR (Rich tone), Selective Focus, Virtual Tour Shot. On the front side, there is a 2.1-megapixel camera.

There is a 2800 mAh battery included in the device, while the Galaxy S5 does have quite a lot of new features, thus one cannot easily call this just a minor upgrade from the Galaxy S4. Did you love the device already, given the specs?

iBall Andi 5.5N2 quad-core Android 4.2 phablet launched at Rs. 14,999

iBall has launched a new phablet in the Indian market, the Android 4.2 Jelly Bean-based iBall Andi 5.5N2, priced at Rs. 14,999, with a best buy price of Rs. 13,499. It will be available in a White model, as shown below


The smartphone was previously available at an online retailer as the iBall Andi 5.5N2 Quadro, at Rs. 13,215. The iBall Andi 5.5N2 features a 5.5-inch IPS HD (1280x720 pixel) display, and runs on a quad-core 1.2GHz Cortex A7 processor, coupled with 1GB of RAM.

The iBall Andi 5.5N2 bears a 12-megapixel rear autofocus camera with LED flash, apart from a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. There is 4GB of inbuilt storage on the Andi 5.5N2 Quadro, which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. 

Connectivity options on the phablet include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPRS, EDGE, GPS, Micro-USB and 3G HSPA+. iBall is also touting the Andi 5.5N2's wireless display connectivity via Wi-Fi, but makes no mention of the specific technology used. 

Other features on the iBall Andi 5.5N2 include flip to mute gesture control, and a variety of sensors - gravity, proximity, and light. The phone features a 2500mAh battery.

Also recently introduced, was the iBall Andi 4.5-K6, a budget Android smartphone that was listed on the company's site without price in late December, and also available at an online retailer at Rs. 7,395. iBall Andi4.5-K6 is a dual-SIM, dual-core 3G-enabled smartphone with support for GSM+GSM, and runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. 

Prior to the Andi 4.5-K6, iBall recently also introduced two new affordable smartphones in India, the Andi 5-E7 and Andi 5-M8. Both the iBall Andi 5-E7 and Andi 5-M8 smartphones have been listed at company's site with Rs. 8,199 and Rs. 8,999 pricing respectively.

Idea Ultra Android Phone with 5-inch Display, Dual-SIM Launched – Specs & Pricing

Idea cellular, the network carrier in India has launched its latest flagship smartphone, the Idea Ultra with the Android OS and some mid-end specifications. The Ultra comes with a 5-inch capacitive touchscreen, with the IPS display having a screen resolution of 480 x 854 pixels, and it has got an internal powering by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor which is supported by 512 MB RAM. Running the Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS, the Idea Ultra has got the Dual SIM connectivity, with the two GSM SIM, with Dual standby. The phone supports 3G connectivity, and there are different other connectivity options too available in the smartphone apart from this. There are two cameras included in the Idea Ultra, the rear shooter being 8-megapixel autofocus one with the LED flash, and there is a front camera too included. This being the first 5-inch Android smartphone from Idea, they have a lot of hopes as over 6 lakh devices were sold by the company with the devices having screen sizes of 3.5-inch, 4-inch and 4.5-inch.
The internal storage provided in the Idea Ultra smartphone is 4GB, with the user available storage being 1.9GB, while there is an expansion possibility, to 32GB with the MicroSD card support. The battery capacity is 2000 mAh. The smartphone is going to be available at the various retail and service stores of Idea in the 3G circles such as Maharashtra & Goa, Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh & Chhattisgarh, Kerala, Gujarat, UP West & East, and Haryana. The pricing at which the Idea Ultra is launched, is Rs. 10,500. For the Rs. 259 – Rs.261 Idea Ultra users across the 3G circles, they would be getting the 3G data benefits of 3GB 3G internet and free TV for 3 months after the purchase of this smartphone. The smartphone would be available right away in the various markets as mentioned above.

Floating touch screen technology - touch screen mobile phone models of a new technology. 
Floating touch screen technology works not only through the finger touching the screen, but also to be sensitive to the non-conductive cloth fabric, that is, after wearing the gloves in the winter, you can still freely manipulate the phone .

Floating Touch screen technology allow users to use the phone and do not have to touch the screen to complete the action . just place your finger to the screen to ensure a distance of about 15mm on the phone you can get a similar mouse operation, simply place your finger hovers over top of the screen and it can be manipulated.

Technology Applications

Sony's new Sony Xperia Sola phone's biggest feature of the machine for the first time in the smart phone using the Floating Touch floating touch screen technology, its advantage is that users browse the web, without directly touching the phone screen but simply floating finger  in the air  such as the mouse will be able to achieve the same effect of the selected item.  In addition, in the future with software upgrades and the cooperation of developers, Floating Touch technology will support more new user features and applications.
